Memantine is a tablet used in moderate-to-severe dementia of the Alzheimer’s type. It is a symptom treatment, sometimes combined with a cholinesterase inhibitor.
Overview
Kidney function and dizziness are practical issues. It is not disease-modifying and is not an antibody.
NMDA-receptor antagonist used for cognitive symptoms.
